Terms of Use for Meshmerize
Agreement
These terms apply to the Meshmerize app (“the App”) on iPhone, iPad and Mac and to getmeshmerize.com. By downloading or using the App you agree to them.
The App is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the Standard EULA). These terms add to the Standard EULA. Where the two conflict on anything to do with Apple, the Standard EULA governs.
Meshmerize Pro
Meshmerize Pro is offered as a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the App before you buy.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends. If an offer includes a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings under your Apple Account. Apple handles all payments and refunds.
Community
The Feed lets you post, comment, share photos, join groups and keep a public profile and handle. Everything you share there is public to other Meshmerize users, and it must follow these rules.
We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. Do not post or send:
- harassment, bullying, threats or intimidation of anyone
- hate speech or attacks on people for their race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or national origin
- nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence
- anything illegal, or anything that promotes self-harm
- spam, scams, or advertising that a group has not allowed
- someone else's private information, or impersonation of another person, shop or brand
- photos, charts or designs you do not have the right to share
Moderation, Reporting and Blocking
Posts, comments and photos are screened before they appear, and we may decline or remove anything that breaks these terms.
You can report any post, comment or profile from its menu, and block any user. Blocking hides that user's posts, comments, profile and notices from you. We review reports within 24 hours. When content breaks these terms we remove it, and we suspend or permanently ban the user who posted it.
Your Content
You keep ownership of the patterns, photos, posts and stitches you make. When you post to the Feed, submit a stitch, or send a photo from Identify, you give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display and distribute it in the App and on getmeshmerize.com so the service can work. For submitted stitches and photos, that license also covers adding the stitch to the App for everyone and using the photos to improve stitch identification, as the Privacy Policy describes.
You can delete your posts, comments and profile in the App at any time. Deleted Feed content is removed from the App.
Painted canvases and published charts belong to their designers. Photograph or import them for your own stitching, and share only what you have the right to share.
Shops
Shop hours, addresses and other details are gathered from each shop's own website and may be out of date. Check with the shop before you travel.
Ending Access
We may suspend or end your access to the Feed if you break these terms. Your patterns, stash and other private data stay on your devices and in your iCloud account.
Disclaimer
The App is provided as is, as the Standard EULA sets out. Thread estimates, color matches and stitch diagrams are guides; check them against your canvas and threads before you buy or stitch.
Changes to These Terms
If these terms change, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Using the App after a change means you accept it.
